At this time Sitter for your Critter is doing it’s best to navigate through the impact of this crisis.
We are still open and running semi-normal operations. Primarily our management team is currently working, and we are operating at less than 1% of our normal capacity. We have several health care workers and essential business owners so we are trying to stay open to support them and their pets during this crisis as they are working countless hours.
Should you contract the virus, we ask that you have an alternate plan in place to care for your animals. this is for the safety of our team , and the rest of our clients as we enter their homes. We do not want to be a carrier of this, and we are taking every precautionary measure possible. Click here to view our safety protocol.
Should you continue to use us for dog walking, or one of our other COVID-19 Services, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We do ask that you please keep your distance from our staff and follow our safety guidelines.
We have been asked by many of our clients how they can support us. We have started a Patreon Page. All of the proceeds from this will be given to our dog walkers, pet sitters and admin support team members. They have been hit the hardest during this crisis and every little bit helps them to survive during this time. We are also selling gift certificates and have created NEW pre-pay packages.

Safety Protocol
In an effort to flatten the curve and slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) our entire team is dedicated not only to practicing social distancing but we have taken it a step further and have created an entire Safety Protocol.
It is mandatory that our staff practices this when out in public as well as in clients homes to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of our clients (human and furry) and those around them.
You can rest assured knowing that we are taking all recommended precautions directly from the CDC and WHO to keep you and your family safe.
We understand that your dog walking and pet sitting needs have changed due to this crisis so we have responded and created a list of NEW COVID-19 friendly services. We hope to be able to help you in any way possible during this time.
COVID-19 Services

Concierge Service
This new service was created to assist clients that might be at a higher risk of getting seriously ill or parents and business professionals that have children at home or are now working from home and can not get out to run errands in the middle of the day.
- Some of these services include:
- Grocery shopping
- Pick up medications from the local drugstore
- Bring packages to the post office or pick up mail
- Return items to store
- Pick up pet food and supplies
- Bring pet to the groomer or vet
Virtual Assistant
Several of our team members happen to be experienced and hold degrees in business, education, and professional writing. With the help of technology our staff can assist you virtually with projects. Some of these services include:
- Editing and proof reading documents
- Manage social media accounts
- Oversee and Manage Facebook Groups
- Data Entry
- Create and edit newsletters
- Create Graphics
- Write Blog Posts
- Conduct Market Research
- Organize Virtual Events
Puppy Play Dates
Is your puppy driving you crazy?
We will pick up your puppy, they play, socialize with other puppies, and they come home tired and happy!
There are play date pick up times and time blocks each lasting a total of 2- 3 hours.
- Early morning 8-10:30
- Mid Afternoon 11-1:30
- Late Afternoon 2-4:30
Pick your play date time and leave the rest to us!
Group Play Dates
Does your pup need more than a 30-minute walk?
Group play dates are for the pups that need a little bit extra. It provides a great energy outlet for dogs, giving them the time and space to run with friends and get the exercise they need–but it’s indeed a lot more than that!
Group Play Dates have the same Pickup times and time blocks as the Puppy Play Dates.
Virtual Dog Training
It’s Dog Training, just virtual.
Sitter for your Critter has partnered with an online dog training company called Train your Bestie to bring you online dog training courses so you can work with your dogs from the comfort of your own home.
Need a one on one experience? We have you covered there as well. Book a private session with one of our amazing trainers today! Your sessions will be virtual and recorded so you can watch them over and over again!
CBD
Have you been curious about CBD and the effects it has on your pets?
We have a serious passion for CBD! It has helped countless animals with things like pain, anxiety, and so so much more!

We miss you!
We might not be able to see you and your pets in person but that doesn’t mean we have to totally say good-bye. We have come up with a fun way to stay in touch with our clients on a regular basis and spread some love at the same time.

Every week our CEO of Sitter for your Critter will go live on our Facebook Page and announce that week’s giveaway and how you can enter. We have created a series of #stopthespread graphics that we will ask you to share on your social media pages. We are giving away gift cards to Sitter for your Critter and other local businesses, dog and cat toys, treats, and other fun pet products.
Along with our weekly contest we have also started a LIVE show called The Weekly Dogcast.
The Weekly Dogcast is a show for all of our pet parents out there. We will be interviewing different experts in the pet industry on topics such as nutrition, health and wellness, animal safety, obedience, grooming, and so much more. We want to use this precious time to learn more about how to be better pet parents.

We hope that this will be a temporary solution until we can reunite with our furry friends. There have been many of you that have reached out to offer support to our staff and it means the world to us.
